1. Acceptance of terms
By downloading, installing, or using Titan Format ("the Software"), provided by Cover Two Strategies LLC ("we," "us," or "the developer"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the Software.
2. License
The Software is provided free of charge for personal and commercial use. You may use and share the unmodified installer or executable. You may not sell the Software, misrepresent its origin, or remove or alter its branding or these terms.
3. No warranty
The Software is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Software will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or that it will meet your requirements or operate with your hardware or configuration.
4. Data loss and drive formatting (please read)
The Software formats and erases storage drives. Formatting a drive permanently destroys all data on it. This is the intended function of the Software.
You are solely responsible for selecting the correct drive and for backing up any data you wish to keep before using the Software. We are not responsible, and accept no liability whatsoever, for any loss, corruption, or destruction of data, including data you intended to keep, data on the wrong drive, data lost through user error, or data lost due to any malfunction, defect, or unexpected behavior of the Software. Once a drive is formatted, its previous contents cannot be recovered by us and are your responsibility alone.
By using the Software you acknowledge that you understand this risk and accept full responsibility for the drives you choose to format and their contents.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event shall Cover Two Strategies LLC, its owners, or its contributors be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, business interruption, or hardware damage, arising out of or in any way connected with the use of or inability to use the Software, whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or otherwise, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.
Where liability cannot be excluded by law, our total aggregate liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Software, which for the free version is zero.
6. User responsibility
You are responsible for using the Software lawfully, for ensuring you have the right to format any drive you use it on, and for complying with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
7. Third-party services
Optional donation links (such as Ko-fi) are provided for convenience and are operated by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for those services.
8. Changes
We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Software after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Michigan, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-law provisions.
10. Privacy
Titan Format does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data.

This Privacy Policy explains how Titan Format ("the Software"), provided by Cover Two Strategies LLC ("we," "us," or "the developer"), handles your information.
The short version: Titan Format collects nothing.
1. No data collection
Titan Format does not collect, store, transmit, sell, or share any personal data or usage information. The Software runs entirely on your own computer. It does not create user accounts, does not require registration, and does not send any information about you, your device, or your drives to us or to anyone else.
2. No tracking or analytics
The Software contains no analytics, telemetry, advertising, tracking pixels, or third-party tracking of any kind. We do not know when, how often, or whether you use the Software.
3. No internet connection required
Titan Format performs all of its work locally on your device and does not require an internet connection to function. It does not phone home or check in with any server.
4. Local operation only
Any drive names, labels, or settings you enter or select are used only on your own computer for the duration of the task and are not recorded, saved off-device, or transmitted anywhere.
5. Third-party links
The Software and its website may include optional links to third-party services, such as a Ko-fi donation page. If you choose to follow such a link, that third party's own privacy policy governs any information you provide to them. We do not receive or process any data you share with those services beyond the fact that you chose to visit them. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party service you use.
6. Children's privacy
Because the Software collects no data from anyone, it collects no data from children. The Software is a general-purpose utility and is not directed at children.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Since the Software collects no data, we do not anticipate material changes to how your information is handled.
